I started with Reunion Island Coffee back in 2004 as the sole Graphic Designer on a Marketing team of three people. Soon after I joined the team, we endeavored to rebrand the “Perfect Bean Company” for the modern coffee culture.
Started in 1995 by Peter Pesce, the business’ initial focus was on supplying local cafés who would serve the coffee under their own name. As the opportunity to serve the consumer market started to unfold, Reunion Island Coffee needed a new look, one that would appeal to broad audience. The Reunion Island Coffee logo you see here was the result. It was inspired by simple designs of the time that were pioneered by companies like Starbucks and Apple.
